• The TT-3060A Inmarsat Mobile Telephone will give you true independent and global interconnection to any destination in the world, whether you need high quality telephone calls, fax prints, data transfers or e-mail messages.
• Designed in a ruggedized all magnesium case, the TT-3060A will fulfill all your portable and fixed needs for a mobile telephone, extending your mobility from "GSM" coverage to true global coverage.
• Due to the very compact design of the Mobile Capsat Telephone (occupying less than half your normal briefcase), low weight an dlow power consumption (370mW typical in listen mode), the TT-3060A will be your very best choice for any mobile requirements for travelling businessmen, rescue activities, news gathering, construction site communications etc.
• The TT-3060A is operated from the handset just like a normal GSM telephone, from the 2-wire DTMF phone interface, from a connected fax machine or from the data port using Hayes AT command sets.
• The small and discrete flat panel antenna is sealed for true outdoor operation, and may be relocated up to 70 meters (225 feet) from the basic telephone. An optional bracket allows you to semi-fix the antenna installation during "office hours". A built-in acoustic signal strength indicator simplifies the whole set-up.
• The TT-3060A has a built-in NiCd battery for 48 hours listen time and approximately 2.5 hours talk time. Included is also a 9-18 Vdc charger and a small external ac adapter.
• Normal operation of the telephone is possible during battery charge operations and an ac fast charger and spare battery packs are available as options.

The TT-3060A Mobile Telephone uses the new 3rd generation Inmarsat Spot Beam satellites providing you with world coverage. The TT-3060A Mobile Telephone is a 3-in-1 communication solution, providing you with Voice, Fax and Data communication. Besides the basic communication services, the new Inmarsat mini-M network will also offer a number of new features: Voice/Fax/Data Mailbox services, Call Line Identity, Short Message Services (SMS), Call Forwarding, Call Waiting and 3-way Conference Call.

The TT-3060A Mobile Telephone offers you true portability, weighing only 2.2 Kg including handset, battery & antenna and being smaller than an ordinary laptop PC. Despite its low weight and small size, the TT-3060A Mobile Telephone is designed in a ruggedized magnesium case providing the necessary reliability for portable use. A fully sealed compact antenna, which will withstand even the most extreme weather conditions, plus a built-in battery-pack with extraordinary capacity (2.5 hours talk time / 50 hours standby) completes the image of the only true portable, flexible and reliable communication solution.

For fixed applications, the TT-3060A Mobile Telephone is also very well suited. The antenna can easily be removed up to 70 meters from the telephone by means of an optional antenna extension cable. An optional bracket and the built-in acoustic signal strength indicator of the antenna, allows you an easy installation. Add a Solar Panel to your set up and your independence of the local infrastructure will be complete.

The TT-3060A Mobile Telephone provides a high level of personal security utilizing SIM (Subscriber-Identity-Module) cards. With your personal SIM card, you are in complete control of the use of the TT-3060A Mobile Telephone. Using the built-in SIM Card reader, Prepaid cards will also be possible. The TT-3060A Mobile Telephone can however also be used without SIM card, if so configured.

The TT-3060A Mobile Telephone system includes the Transceiver unit with Handset, removable Antenna, removable 50h/2.5h Battery Pack, built-in 9-18 Vdc Charger, built-in Solar Panel interface, light weight AC adapter which will charge the battery pack in 6 hours and a 5 meter antenna extension cable.

Options include STU-III/II-B interface, canvas carrying bag, spare battery pack, long antenna cables, fast charge AC adapter which will charge the battery pack in less than 2 hours, antenna wall mounting kit and 2 types of Solar Panels for either fixed or portable applications.
